Apologies for my silence this weekend. I was at a Geeky Christmas market and needed an entire day to recover. But I am back with Festive Derpy Shenanigans! And to reveal that in the last poll we had a TIE! Unlocking 2 designs! (We also unlocked the 5th design, so both of these will be joining the hoard!)

Apparently, you guys want all the things! And the Stocking Derpy tied with the mystery design, which you can vote on in today's poll!

I can't wait to see what you guys vote for to see which Derpy I will draw next! Honestly, there are several I would love to see as pins.... And I am torn between adding them as stretch goals, or even possibly making a 10 pin tier to see if we can unlock more than one. Or perhaps a future Festive Derpy campaign will feature those designs. (If I can squeeze one into all my planned campaigns...😂)

🎄🐉🎶Carols and bells, the Derpy Dragons are up to no good!🎵🐉But the cheer is festive🎄🎵 and the spirits bright—or is that strong?🎶🎄Either way you have untangled your way through the lights left by "past you", and helped the tangled little Derpy join the hoard!


This little derpy was the first to be drawn for this set. And as most derpies goes, they just multiply. 🤔Maybe Derpies are like rabbits???


I think that the pretty lights are my favourite part of the holidays. Around here, we call them winter lights and have them up all season. Especially with winter being dark so early where we live, it is really nice to bike home from sports and see the pretty lights even if it's dark outside. Also, by calling them winter lights, I convinced my husband it's okay to have them on well into March 😂🎄🎄.

What is your favourite thing that puts you in a festive mood? Lights? Music? Food? People? I would love to know! 

I remember growing up in South Africa, the big  had pretty lights on the lamp posts. Back then lights on homes weren't a thing, and it was summer. But driving at night was always a highlight so we could see the pretty lights.

Wow, you guys have so many good ideas for the sixth pin! I might actually need a whole other holiday-inspired campaign in the future! (Or add a 10-pin tier!) You unlocked the Holiday Wreath Derpy in yesterday's poll! Our Derpy tree is coming along nicely!

Plus, you unlocked the 4th design and are super close to the 5th one!!

You also unlocked the 1st colouring page! But there are 4 more to unlock, so keep those comments, likes, and votes coming! Each time you participate it helps other backers find this campaign!

For myself it is the pajama box. I am not a huge gift giver, but I began this pajama box for my family a few years ago. It has a book, a mug, fancy hot chocolate, a small treat, new socks, and yes, new pajamas in it. Usually a fun onesie. We usually open it on the 24th, and then everyone chills on the 25th. I love a VERY low key holiday. But I do decorate. And my husband usually makes us a delicious turkey feast if we aren't travelling.

Wow! We are killing it! You have unlocked 3 of the planned 6 designs already! And many of you have given me some great suggestions in the comments on the sixth design! Keep those ideas coming! 

We have some real keeners out there! How did you get all your shopping done already? 🤯 Though I am there with the buying of your own gifts, I don't think I've bought a single gift yet... I better get on it; I guess >.<.

The little present Derpy Dragon will be the first one to join the hoard! 

I really like this guy. He reminds me of an old fanart I made many years ago (2013) where I first discovered fancy brushes in Photoshop.


Ok, this art is very different.... but thought you might enjoy it anyway <3 And now that I look at it, I am inspired to turn some of these into Derpy dragons...   Ahhhh good old minions....

For today's poll, I would love for you to tell me your favourite holiday activity! This will also determine your second design you unlocked! I think my personal favourite thing is spiced wine...and soups, and my husband's smoked turkey dinner... (I might be hungry as I write this update...)

It's that time of year when stress skyrockets and wallets bottom out. (Who else is Dopamine shopping for gifts for themselves on BackerKit this season?🙋‍♀️) But it can be a time of fun and shenanigans as well! And who better to bring the Derpy back into the Holidays than your favourite Derpy Dragons!

I am a bit of a Krampus myself, with Christmas always feeling over the top and overstimulating... but... I love sparkles and glitter, and my husband does an amazing job of Christmas lights on our house. Sadly, my unicorn has gone from pristine to the pestilence horseman of the apocalypse and now finally a decayed corpse, so there won't be a flashy unicorn in my yard this year. But I digress; this is about dragons, not unicorns! (I should know better...but here we are)

One idea I already thought of is a Santa Derpy... Why didn't I think of this sooner? Who knows. Maybe because I think Santa is kinda creepy.... (Old guy climbing down my chimney? No thanks!) But if we do Santa, then I should also do a Krampus Derpy... now there is one I can get behind! (Monster climbing down my chimney? Yes please! Don't judge...monsters are less scary than humans - I made a "I read banned books" pin for a reason!) But don't let me hog all the ideas! I want to know YOUR thoughts and holiday ideas!!!
